You need to install the kitten static binary, I dont recall if it is
compiled/works for this OS though.

it's a Go program. And it will be available if Go supports your platform
already, if it doesnt you cant build it without first adding support for
your platform to Go.

Any suggestions how to manually set up bash integrations on remote server?
When I try to run the ssh kitten I get
Unlike other UNIXes, z/OS UNIX is EBCDIC based which causes lots of troubles. But I do have bash 5.2 set up as my terminal and Python 3.12.5 installed. I think my best option is to set the integration manually.
